NEW MOON in LEO

The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.

How do you experience your creativity? And don't give me that nonsense about "I'm not creative." ;-) Everyone is creative in their own way! You might not be able to paint a masterpiece or dance with grace or sing with beauty, but there is a creative side of you just the same. Every time you had to come up with an original solution to a problem that couldn't be resolved with old answers, you were using your natural creativity. And what about when you moved or reorganized the living room, and you decided to put this painting over here because it works well on that wall, and that wall hanging over there because it picks up the colour in the couch? It might not make you a world class interior decorator, but you were using your creative sense just the same. Or the times when you looked in your favourite cookbook for ideas of something different to add to the stir fry, like cashews or dried currents or perhaps some fiddleheads.

Creativity and creative self-expression are in the spotlight right now, although creativity rarely goes in a straight line. The creative energy in the air right now is all about resolving paradox — two things equally true or valid or real that conflict with each other and might even seem to be impossible to coexist together. How do you handle paradox? If you get itchy when things don't line up neatly, this could be a strange, even frustrating, time for you. And yet, it's when things don't line up exactly that the most interesting, innovative and fun things can happen! So tune yourself to both empowerment for change and surrender to what is. Embrace both your woundedness and the bitter tonic that can bring healing. In the midst of these seemingly contradictory experiences, something can emerge that shines a light on a something beautiful inside you. You might not think that this is a beautiful part of you, but if you dig a little deeper you will see a precious part of your humanness.

Over the next few weeks, you might find that you and/or those around you are on a bit of a short fuse. There may be times when it feels like life the world is out to get you. Or, you might feel like no matter what you do, something is in the way to trip you up or blocking your path that you have to climb over. This is a really good time to resist the urge to lash out or overreact. In particular, getting even with anyone who hurts you is a bad idea. At the same time, it's also good to resist the temptation to beat yourself up or succumb to depression if you feel you're in a no-win situation. Instead, this is a time to empower yourself from within. That means doing what you need to do to take care of yourself when you're stressed. Even if you sense you're in the wrong, it's important to keep up your inner sense of well-being. You can be wrong or imperfect and still accept yourself as being okay for being human while you continue to strive for self-improvement. I'm available for private live readings and email readings, so contact me when you need some extra support during this time.

The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.

What do you do when faced with disappointment? How do you respond when the world around you isn't the way you feel it should be? Certainly, no one is likely to jump up and down with glee and excitement. ;-) But how you respond in times of trouble or frustration can show a lot about you. This doesn't have to be just a time of sadness or loss, but it could be a time of challenge when you are faced with an obstacle or frustrating situation and must deal with it. Perhaps you tend to react in anger, or you might initially feel overwhelmed or abandoned by the Universe. This is a time to step outside yourself and observe how you respond. You might be surprised by what you see.

The truth is there are larger-than-life forces at play right now. It wouldn't be surprising if you feel a bit like a little kid lost in a crowd. But you are more than just your Inner Child. This is a time when you are called upon to rally more than just one part of you—the little kid and the grown up who can look at the bigger picture. That bigger picture shows that what's happening in your life is much bigger than just you and your personal circumstances. You are in the midst of a massive turning point in human evolution, and humanity is going through a lot of turmoil as a result. So regardless of your individual situation this is part of your world, and however you respond to it all becomes part of that larger picture. The collective affects you and you affect the collective.

The highest potential during this time is for you to start to see yourself as part of that big picture — the microcosm within the macrocosm. The challenge is that it's easy to get tied up in knots with personal reactions to collective events and experiences. We all have a vision of the kind of world we think would be optimal, but if we only fight for our own vision then we get a massive traffic jam on multiple levels: spiritual, cultural, global, etc. The lesson we are all going through is to find ways to see the larger reality beyond our individual preferences and dreams, and yet not to lose sight of those dreams either. It is to see beyond the reactions of others who infuriate us, to discover a broader perspective that can encompass all visions, beliefs, priorities and agendas in some way. You are alive at a time when this has never been more critical or important. And the place to start is in your own life—to find harmony and balance in who you are in conjunction with the world around you. I'm available for both live readings and email readings to help you find your own unique meaning, understanding and direction. Contact me for more information or to schedule a reading.
