NEW MOON in TAURUS
This Forecast in effect
April 21 to May 5, 2012
The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.
This is a time to count your blessings. This means taking stock of the benefits, abundance and resources in your life, be they physical, emotional,
mental, spiritual or social. Even if your body is suffering from ill health, there's bound to something about your body that you can enjoy. For example,
even if you're getting over a cold, you can enjoy the pleasure of curling up in a warm blanket on the couch. Or if you feel some part of your body is
unattractive, find another part that is acceptable to you or perhaps even something you feel good about. This is not about instantly transforming difficulty
into freedom from stress – it's about finding little ways that can help you gradually grow beyond wherever you're stuck. One day, one step, even one
molecule at a time.
This time also means taking inventory of what is missing in your life. You might be recovering from a loss, be it the loss of a friend or a home
or a job. Or you might have reduced your financial resources through a large purchase recently. This is a time to make plans about how you can (again,
gradually) grow back what is missing. In other words, it's time to plant new seeds to renew and recycle a previous harvest.
Something missing doesn't have to be a bad loss, though. You might also have lost a bad habit or a destructive attitude. Circumstances might require
you to do without something you want or need, but if you look closely you can probably see that the delay will allow something new or better to come
into your life. Perhaps you regret not having done more in the past so that you would have more of something now? For example, putting money away for
savings, or building up your physical fitness through exercise. Remember that before growth can occur, the conditions must be ready to support it. If
growth or change isn't occurring as quickly as you'd hoped, look at what needs to happen in the present so that something better can emerge in the future.
Patience is a blessing that can get you through this time of waiting for the process to evolve and unfold. One of the best ways to "wait" for something
better is to take stock of what you already have that's working for you.
