Lunar Forecasts for June-July 2012

Lunar Forecast for the

(SECOND) NEW MOON in GEMINI

This Forecast in effect
June 19 to July 3, 2012

The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.

What was happening in your life about a month ago, or during the past 4 weeks? Were you seeing something in a new way? Perhaps you discovered the truth about something, which might have been an inspiring revelation or a disappointing realization. Maybe you've been simply "sitting with" a disquieting or surprising experience and learning how to understand it better.

You're in a position now to look back on this again and discover something new about it. Perhaps your thoughts have gone over what happened so much that suddenly a new insight falls into place. Or you might be realizing that you can take these ideas in a whole new direction. Essentially, you have the potential to repurpose old perceptions and thoughts into new ideas, concepts, understanding and inspiring possibilities.

Here's the twist in the trail, though. Although you may feel confident (perhaps based on past experience) that you know how to do this and are capable of it, you might find the actual doing a bit more of a challenge than you expected. This does not mean you should give up! It does mean you will need to put your mind's shoulder to the wheel in order to hammer out your goals, plan of action and solution. It might feel discouraging sometimes, but follow the trail and it can lead you to a place where you can get what you need. Just don't expect it to fall into place like magic – this kind of magic requires some mental sweat in order to work.

The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.

What issues have you been wrestling with in your life, which require you to "get real" and deal with the consequences of your actions and choices? This is a time when you have the chance to move yourself a few more steps along that path, if you're willing to really apply yourself. You may also find you get increased insight and leverage if you look at your situation as it is echoed in much larger similar situations (e.g. global politics) or in much more specific situations (e.g. particular examples of how the problem has manifested in your life).

A clear answer or solution may be tricky to obtain, however. It's not enough to simply map out your strategy, facts, direction and goals that you hope will take you to your destination. The most effective and complete results will require a much more in-depth analysis. You'll need to understand what's at stake within a broader context than just the immediate situation. And you'll need to bring into focus the far reaching implications of taking action, as well as not taking action.

It may be necessary to undergo the struggle between what you feel you need subjectively, versus a more objective or detached view of what is called for in the situation. Your subjective needs may be geared more to personal comfort and safety, while the objective needs are more likely geared to achieving the results you want. You might have to compromise one to some extent in order to get the other. In that sense, letting go of any attitude of entitlement you might have ("I deserve this, just because!") may be a good place to start, and ironically, is likely to help you get what you're looking for.
