NEW MOON in SCORPIO

The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.

Happy Rebirthday! The New Moon in Scorpio begins a 4-week process that represents a fresh start in how you process, understand and deal with the deeper part of your nature. This can include fears, secrets and obsessions, as well as a profound longing to be connected to a greater truth about life and your place within it. By embracing these aspects of yourself, it can bring them out into the light of consciousness where they can be integrated into your sense of self in a positive, productive way.

The trick is that what lies deep below the surface is often stuff we don't want to admit we have – rage, hatred, prejudice, shame, guilt, shyness, sensitivity, and so on. We all have this – it's a fundamental part of the human condition. As a human being, part of your life path is to keep working at transforming it into empowerment, acceptance, confidence, resilience and strength. Now is the time to take another step along that path. And you have some impressive support from the Universe right now to help you do this, including wisdom, knowledge, faith, optimism and steadfastness to help you endure with these qualities through the difficult steps along the way.

You might struggle with a kind of fight-or-flight dilemma. Do you seek out the support of other people and risk their rejection, or hold back and try to make yourself more presentable before making the leap? Only you can decide which is your best move right now, but don't hold back for too long or you could miss an important window for growth and change. Listen to your gut instinct, not at face value but as food for thought that either feels right or it doesn't. Is your instinct based on impulsive fear or because some part deep inside of you says, "Yes, I'm ready"? It's helpful to let yourself believe in a positive outcome, while at the same time remembering that the fantasy of a happy ending doesn't usually manifest exactly like you picture it. Realistic optimism that keeps you moving is where you'll find wisdom.

The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.

It's time to learn to swim! There is a decidedly fluid and shape-shifting energy lurking about, these days. You might feel like you're being carried away by a powerful tide, which might be experienced as awe, wonder and inspiration or perhaps more like being in over your head and struggling to keep your head above water. Either way, this experience is brought into strong focus right now and it's a good idea to develop a strategy for how to navigate it successfully.

In one way, you are being carried by a force greater than yourself and it can feel like you have little control. Think of it as being in a canoe in a swift river current. You can't control the water but you can work with it and use it to your own advantage. To do this you will need to find realistic, structured or practical ways of working with the uncertainty and nebulous nature of what you're dealing with. Think of it as using a solid paddle to steer you safely through the water.

At the same time, you would miss the fun if you didn't allow yourself to enjoy the magic of the experience! This is a time when you can be playful, creative and imaginative, and these are resources that are just as valuable and fruitful right now as a more conventional, grounded approach. It is important to acknowledge and appreciate both sides, and not let yourself embrace one while rejecting the other.
