Lunar Forecast for the

SOLAR ECLIPSE
NEW MOON in PISCES

This Forecast in effect
March 8 to 23, 2016

The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.

For the next two weeks, you are challenged to expand yourself beyond what is familiar. There is wisdom locked away in obscure corners, and discovering it could open up new opportunities and insights. This hidden treasure might even be hiding in plain sight—something exciting, illuminating or mind-blowing that's camouflaged by your habitual expectations and what you think you know. This is a quest for a better life, a better world and a more fulfilled potential, if you are willing to dare to venture beyond what is familiar into the unknown.

What's the catch? Well, the catch is that the path to find this is likely to be a bit of an obstacle course. There may be roadblocks, locked doors, disappointments or more arduous effort involved than you expected. That's not to discourage you, but to let you know that if this happens, you're encouraged to keep trying. However, it's also a good idea to look at what the obstacles are telling you, so that it can become a learning process as well as a test of your endurance. If you grow weary and are tempted to just give up, it's possible you're struggling with a deeper issue from the past which is complicating the here-and-now situation, so think about what that might be and find a way to let it go. That past doesn't have to dictate the present...or the future.

This is a good time to open your mind and awareness to fresh ideas and ways of understanding things, which might be something you never considered before or something that hits you out of the blue. Although this might feel a bit like you're in freefall, letting go of control to some degree could actually bring you greater empowerment. Why? Because it can push you to mobilize your innate good judgment and to integrate pieces of your knowledge into a more cohesive wisdom. And if you allow yourself to work with (rather than fight against) those obstacles and frustrations, they can actually help you keep your feet on the ground in a healthy, constructive way. It might not be quite as exciting, glamorous or magical they way you expected, but the results are likely to be more substantial and rewarding this way.

The Lunar Forecasts give Daily Horoscopes a greater context.

What do you think of yourself? What do others think about you? What kind of feedback do you get from others, and what qualities do they seem to mirror back about who you are? How much are you concerned about what others think? And how easily do you second-guess yourself when faced with a difficult challenge? In addition, what kind of opinions do you tend to hold about others? How do you react when they do or think or believe something you don't agree with? Do you tend to condemn them harshly or are you able to accept that they have a different viewpoint? These are good questions to ponder in the coming weeks. You have a chance to explore your sense of self-acceptance and how you might allow what others think to pull you out of your centre; out of a positive sense of yourself.

On the down side, what could make this necessary is encountering criticism, mistakes, failure to meet expectations or just miscalculating what is needed to bring a dream into manifestation. The impact of this could be anything from a bit of frustration to feeling like you just slammed into a brick wall. Much of how you experience this depends on whether you see it as bursting your bubble, leaving you with nothing, or as simply a temporary detour in order to make adjustments.

It could be tempting to succumb to impulsive reactions that are more about just making the problem go away as fast as possible. The problem with that is that it's probably better to have patience, pay attention to the little things that trip you up, and let yourself be okay with who you are and what you do even if you don't feel like you measure up to perfection. Take action in a way that speaks to the broader issues and potential. And at some point, look in the mirror and say: "Hey there, gorgeous! You're amazing just the way you are!"
