Any fool can know. The point is to understand.
~ Albert Einstein
When life becomes difficult or painful, we struggle to understand why.
We try on different ways of looking at things to see if it starts to make more sense. We strive to assess the situation and suss out the truth of the matter, attempting to sift fact from fantasy and wisdom from whimsy.
We look for who to blame; who to hold accountable. Who is wrong and who is right. Whose hand to hold in sympathy and who we should distance ourselves from.
All of this comes from the need to rise above painful experiences and feelings, especially those that compel us to question what we believe about life and how best to live it. Sometimes it is evoked by disillusionment or disappointment, sometimes by loss or change.
This is usually triggered by something that jolts us out of our business-as-usual walk through life. It forces us to wake up and open our eyes. What worked in the past doesn't work well anymore. We can no longer fly on automatic pilot, flitting from moment to moment, blurring out the implications of our experiences and choices.
This Sagittarius Full Moon presents an opportunity for us to take another step on this journey of expanding our perspective to find greater meaning in our lives.
Sagittarius is ultimately about the quest for truth and wisdom, wherever it can be found. It is this search for understanding, meaning and knowledge that helps us determine how best to live our lives. We reach for priorities and ethics that will guide us in that direction. We strive to integrate these qualities into our lives through our opinions and actions, which may in turn shed new light on our experiences and worldview.
Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, whose expansive nature reflects the ways that our understanding, insight and philosophy are ever-growing. One insight leads to another. Questions lead to answers and then to more questions. What begins as primal curiosity in archetypal Gemini becomes an exploration of what it all means in the opposite sign, Sagittarius.
This Full Moon draws from both Gemini and Sagittarius; these are the positions of the Sun and Moon, respectively. There is tension in the opposition between the Sun and Moon. The focus of Gemini (information, curiosity, interchange with others) leads to the focus of Sagittarius – finding the meaning in all that information, the quest for truth and wisdom, and entering into an interchange with whatever lies beyond the individual self.
Turn your wounds into wisdom.
~ Oprah Winfrey
Chiron squares the Sun-Moon opposition, forming a T-square. Yes, this is another Mutable T-square! And yes, the other one (Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune) is still with us too. (Stop that groaning.)
Chiron is in Pisces. At its best, this planet/sign combination can lead to deep spiritual healing that involves finding peace with the challenges of life and the universe. Notice I didn't say eradicating them. Chiron is much more about learning to live with the inevitable and unavoidable pain that we encounter in life. Ultimately it leads us into existential questioning of what we are doing here and what's really important to us.
The Chiron-Sun-Moon T-square suggests that we are engaged in a struggle to find a brighter truth, a higher love and a greater sense of peace amid the misfortunes of life. We are challenged to find better ways of dealing with what we find intolerable.
When seized by ongoing struggles, Chiron's lesson is to start with what you can do to lessen it, and then you need to find a way to deal with whatever is left over.
Not as easy as it sounds (and it doesn't sound easy). If you let the pain of it overtake you, you can't function. If you try to pretend the pain isn't there, it tends to get deflected onto or through something else. So you might become grouchy and disproportionately angry about a situation (e.g. blaming someone else for your pain when they have little or nothing to do with it). Or, you might numb yourself out (e.g. pain killers, like medication, alcohol, etc) but then you could do more damage because you're oblivious to the effects of your behaviour and actions.
In mythology, Chiron the centaur had a painful wound that wouldn't heal, yet he was determined to deal with the pain while continuing to function. He taught astrology and the healing arts. He deflected in a positive way – he not only rechanneled his anguish into (literally) a healing process, he also invested the best he had to give into helping others heal and increase their knowledge. In so doing, he could be distracted from his distress without losing touch with his body.
This is the Chiron way. The lesson is to learn to carry the weight without being flattened by it, yet without disconnecting from it either. Not the easiest job description in the world, but undertaking this evolving process can ultimately enable you to do more with your life. You learn not to become vanquished by the struggle, unable to function. And you gradually learn to stop finding relief from pain that creates problems in other areas of your life, like your physical, emotional and spiritual health, your relationships, your productivity, etc.
Nobody does this process perfectly, so there's no need to beat yourself up if it's taking longer than you hoped. Doing this requires a balancing act between soothing and suffering, optimism and frustration, and it takes a while to learn.
As an example, the Chiron return happens around age 51 (when Chiron has gone full circle and returns to where it was when you were born). That's how long it takes to complete one cycle of the Chiron learning process, and then you're at a major crossroads in the overall process; it doesn't happen overnight. Yet each encounter with Chiron—be it through transits to your own natal chart, or what Chiron is doing in the skies for everyone—offers another step in the journey and another opportunity to "get" a bit more of the lesson.
With Chiron featuring so prominently in the Full Moon chart, now is one of those times.
Think about it, there must be higher love
Down in the heart or hidden in the stars above
Without it, life is a wasted time
Look inside your heart, I'll look inside mine...
~ Steve Winwood, Higher Love
So what is Jupiter, Sagittarius' planetary ruler, doing in the middle of all this existential angst? Well, it is making its last of 3 conjunctions with the North Lunar Node: Jan.23, Jan.29 and Jun.20. (Note that this is the True Lunar Node which fluctuates back and forth. It can differ from the Mean Lunar Node by up to a few degrees. Jupiter makes only one conjunction to the Mean Node: Jun.24.)
As a result, Jupiter's mission looms large in the magnifying glass of the North Lunar Node. This puts even more emphasis on Jupiter's Sagittarian nature right now. The quest for truth. The passion for exploration on all levels. Expanding one's perspective to take in the Big Picture. And searching for optimal morality, ethics and principles by which to guide our lives.
Jupiter and the Node oppose Neptune which itself is less than 4° away from the South Node. Neptune shares Jupiter's rulership of Pisces, where Neptune currently resides. That sign is associated with transcendence and compassion, as well as distortion and deception. Neptune projects a vision of what life can be, could be, might be, onto the opalesque balloons of our imaginations, but it falls short on how we might make this happen in real life.
Meanwhile, Jupiter remains in the opposite sign, Virgo, where it must squeeze its vast embrace of All That Is down into a tiny specific thread that can pass through the eye of a needle and can be used to pop those balloons filled with unrealistically wishful thinking.
Saturn remains in square aspect (90°) to both of them, forming the Mutable T-square that has been building since March and continues to play out until early July, having reached its tightest orb around May 26th.
This T-square has wrecked havoc with the stability, predictability and security of many lives during this time. Many of the stories in current events seem to persistently worsen in a game of one-downmanship – a contest of who can out-shock, out-horrify and out-vilify other people or events.
This has led to wildly swinging emotions and passions. The need to manifest one's specific beliefs (Jupiter in Virgo) competes with the longing to envision a better world that will guarantee peace (Neptune in Pisces), which in turn fight with ever-tighter demands for predictable perfection (Saturn in Sagittarius).
If you don't get what you want, you suffer; if you get what you don't want, you suffer; even when you get exactly what you want, you still suffer because you can't hold on to it forever.
Your mind is your predicament. It wants to be free of change. Free of pain, free of the obligations of life and death. But change is law and no amount of pretending will alter that reality.
At the New Moon in Gemini (June 4th), the skin-tight Sun-Moon-Venus conjunction aligned with the Mutable T-square to form a 4th corner, turning it into a Grand Cross (a.k.a. Grand Square) during the first week of June. This larger aspect pattern takes the compulsive sprint of the T-square and gives it legs to run a long-distance marathon. At the time of the Gemini New Moon, that extra surge was provided by the Sun, Moon and Venus, which spoke to the need for caring communication aimed to sooth and create balance.
The Cross is with us again at the Full Moon but this time it is Mercury that fills in the 4th corner of the Grand Square. This is about focusing our awareness and tuning in to the thoughts and ideas that we really want to express. It's also about listening to what is going on around you, literally and figuratively. Pay attention.
Mercury T-squares Jupiter-Neptune (90°), so it's easy to get sidetracked by what could be or what might have been. Mercury's natural curiosity wants to veer off and explore the possibilities. That's not a bad thing but with all this Mutable (fluctuating) energy abounding, it can be easy to wander around lost off the main path and lose the point of the journey.
Saturn opposes Mercury (180°), bringing a command for focus and goals. Being in Sagittarius, Saturn isn't adverse to possibilities, potential and speculation about the implications or meaning of it all. Saturn's primary concern is that you stay practical, real, accurate and honest. In other words, Saturn wants to make sure Mercury has a lifeline to find his way back to the well beaten path when he wanders off to follow his curiosity.
Jupiter, being in the practical Earth Sign of Virgo, is mostly in agreement with Saturn. However, being in a stressful square aspect (90°) to both Mercury and Saturn, his agenda is more about trying to achieve perfection down to the finest detail. Saturn is more concerned that the whole system be workable. As long as all the pieces fit together, he's not concerned about the details. Being in vast Sagittarius he's got bigger fish to fry. (Jupiter is so jealous...)
Fast-moving Mercury lights up the 4th corner of the Cross from Jun.18-24, and is closest from Jun.20-22. So if you're enjoying the increased flexibility and ability to create change that the Mutable energy brings, take advantage while you can. If it's driving you crazy, things should calm down a bit in a few days. (There are other things that might continue to drive you nuts, but at least some of it will have passed in a few days.)
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.
~ Gilda Radner
It seems somehow fitting that the sign of Jupiter, famous for its excesses, has not one but two Full Moons this year! The first one was on May 21st in a very early degree of Sagittarius: 1SG13. This one is in that sign's last degree: 29SG32. A double Full Moon in the same sign happens about every 2-3 years, and tends to happen in a year that has a so-called Blue Moon (which this year was May 21st, using the original definition).
In 30 days we have come full circle, from the beginning to the end of Sagittarius. So, in the words of the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz: "What have you learned, Dorothy?"
In the early degrees of a sign, it's fresh; you're still taking it in and getting in sync with its energy. In this case, the early degrees were about learning to use the power of the mind to counterbalance and transform the intensity and deep emotions of Scorpio into the hope, faith and vision of Sagittarius.
Now we are facing an important leap across the world axis – in other words, when the Sun is at the solstices (Cancer and Capricorn ) and the equinoxes (Aries and Libra). Just 11 hours after this Full Moon, the Sun enters Cancer marking the June Solstice (bringing the official start of summer in the Northern Hemisphere and winter in the Southern Hemisphere).
This Full Moon escorts us across the threshold from Gemini/Sagittarius to Cancer/Capricorn. With the Sun and Moon at the final degrees of Gemini/Sagittarius, we are in transition.
Different people will have different feelings about this. On one hand, this is our last chance to finalize a vision before it is brought into form. However, if what is manifesting is something you're dreading rather than welcoming, you might be looking for ways to put the brakes on and delay the inevitable, or at least figure out the best way to protect yourself from the difficulty of whatever comes next.
Remember that all of this is taking place in the context of Chiron squaring that Full Moon. Chiron's mission is to manage and grow from discomfort, struggle and woundedness. Therefore, you might be concerned about whether you'll have the support you need to get through the process. Alternatively, you might feel you have faith in the process and are anticipating that the transition will lead you from a time of struggle into a time of moving ahead in a way that is both hopeful and realistic. (If nothing else, you can perhaps reassure yourself that the worst will be over soon.)
Either way, this Full Moon is a time to do your final preparations for whatever comes next. You may have managed to bring your vision, intentions and motivation into a relatively clear focus through the last month. Or you might still feel unprepared and lacking sufficient resources. Perhaps you fear that instead of taking a magnificent leap, you will merely trip over that threshold and fall face first into whatever comes next. Nevertheless, one way or another you will get to the other side.
The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.
~ J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
Whichever way you make your entrance into Cancer/Capricorn, dare to have some faith that you will get through it and it will be okay. Even if it's not perfect, you can still move forward in a way that is beneficial and fulfilling.
This is a time to have faith in yourself. Most of us have more strength, resolve and passion to get us through the hard times than we give ourselves credit for. Keep your humanness open so you don't lose touch with your human connection with the world around you. And let yourself be aware of the times when you may be overreacting to heartbreaking or infuriating situations, and then take some space to find your grounded centre again.
This may also be a good time to have some faith in the Universe; that some of the gaps in your plans can be filled in without you having to control it all. This is not a guarantee of a perfect outcome, of course, but Sagittarius' message of hope says it's important to recognize and appreciate even small positives.
Even if the result isn't the best you had imagined, you will still be further ahead in some ways. If you don't recognize that, you will lose much of the benefit of the lesson. If you do acknowledge it, your sanity will thank you for it.
What you allow yourself to perceive and bring into focus now, is likely to colour your journey and experiences on the other side of this transition. It's important to be aware of things that aren't working and need improvement, but it's just as important to feel some gratitude for the things that are better then they were.
Why do you want to shut out of your life any uneasiness, any misery, any depression, since after all you don't know what work these conditions are doing inside you? Why do you want to persecute yourself with the question of where all this is coming from and where it is going? Since you know, after all, that you are in the midst of transitions and you wished for nothing so much as to change.
If there is anything unhealthy in your reactions, just bear in mind that sickness is the means by which an organism frees itself from what is alien; so one must simply help it to be sick, to have its whole sickness and to break out with it, since that is the way it gets better.
~ Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet
The time has come to face facts. There may be a reality in your life that you've been avoiding, and you need to accept and deal with it. Or, you might have to conform to the expectations of others because there's no other way around it. Or, you could find that your ability to communicate, say what you want to say, or get your point across is harder for a few days. This will pass, but there may be concrete reasons why this might not be the best time to communicate whatever is on your mind. You might feel a bit as if you're being tested, and in some way this could be true. This transit may bring an opportunity to see how much you really know and how skilled you are at using that knowledge. On the other hand, this could be a time when hard work and preparation that you've done for several months could pay off. You may be able to progress to the next step in a project, or to make plans in an organised, concrete and responsible way. For a few days, taking a structured, methodical or factual approach to whatever you're doing may produce the best results.
Your mental focus may be a bit clouded, confused or lethargic right now, as your conscious mind struggles to grasp the formless, limitless expanse of the Universe and the unconscious. You may experience some disillusionment or disappointment, in your observations or communication with others. However, what is flowing under the surface of events right now is the need to dissolve away the crust of old expectations that blocks your view from seeing a greater Truth. If you're feeling off-balance, try to listen more than you talk, so that you can be receptive to your inner sensitivity. Left-brain analysis might be difficult to work with right now unless you balance it with a lot of right-brain intuition. You may have to let go of a rigid mindset, or give up what you think you understand about a situation in your life, in order to open yourself to a new perspective that is difficult to define but is ultimately in the best interest of your spiritual growth.
Under this transit you may feel especially idealistic, optimistic and visionary, and start to perceive and understand life beyond your usual horizons. On the other hand, you might also feel an upsurge of judgment, blame or criticism, feeling irritated that you—or the people around you—aren't living up to the best potential. You might also encounter someone who is a mentor, advisor or inspiring teacher, or you might be this person to someone else. Another possibility is you might travel, want to travel, or encounter a person or situation that gives you exposure to other cultures, nationalities, religions or philosophies. Or, you might have a spiritual awakening or feel the need to rethink your beliefs. This is a good time to make a quest for ultimate truth, greater understanding and highest wisdom, using whatever situation presents itself around this time. This transit is in effect for up to a month before and after this date.

Happy Solar Return to everyone born in the sign of Cancer! When the Sun enters Cancer, it also marks the Summer Solstice (in North America, the UK, Europe and other places in the northern hemisphere; or the Winter Solstice in Australia and other places in the southern hemisphere). This is the time when we all get to cultivate and nurture the Cancer side of our nature. This includes feelings, needs and nurturing instincts, as well as your connection to home and family, and your most primal sense of belonging. To explore this area of your life, think about your family – are you closely connected to your family-of-origin (the one you grew up with), or do you also have a "chosen family" in adulthood? Who is part of your support system (the people you know you can turn to when you need them)? What people, groups, places or experiences satisfy your need for belonging, which everyone has inside them? Cancer is about our distant past (childhood, ancestry, memories) that influences our current behaviour, motives and methods of getting our emotional needs met. Take this time to find new ways to nurture yourself, to share that nurturing with others, and to ensure that you don't give to others at the expense of not getting what you need.
Under this transit, you might find you need to, or are compelled to, change your mind about where you are heading in your life. You could be confronted with facts or information that contradicts what you thought was real or true about your sense of life purpose, or it might seem like someone is getting in your way. You may be tempted to dismiss this, deny it, avoid it or rationalize your way around it. However, there is probably valuable information coming to you that is important to take into consideration. It doesn't necessarily mean your life destination should be abandoned; rather, you are challenged to see it more clearly. You might also need to communicate information or a point of view that could be unwelcome or unpopular, or difficult to get your point across. In that case, try not to go overboard in standing your ground and focus primarily on what needs to be said and the best way to say it.
You may be seeing the weak links in your knowledge, understanding or beliefs right now. Your ideas and words might seem to fall short of what your mind envisions, or you might be unable to convince others of your point of view. As a result, it can be tempting to over-compensate with more self-confidence, faith or optimism than you actually have. Or, you might give out "too much information" by over-explaining or through nervous rambling. Alternatively, you might encounter someone else who does this and perhaps have a blaming or judgmental reaction to them. This is an opportunity to learn something about how you might jump to conclusions or blame, possibly triggered by a situation that challenges your beliefs, opinions or perspective. To learn more about this part of yourself, try taking some time to think about what is really bothering you or what you really need to say in that situation. There may be a higher truth to be found if you open your mind to something you're reluctant to acknowledge, rather than looking for a "final truth" around which to close it.
The quest for freedom, wisdom and truth (Jupiter) now works cooperatively with the cycle of transformation, destruction and renewal (Pluto). The effects of this transit aren't likely to be flashy or perhaps even obvious. However, you now have access to optimism and far-reaching vision that can provide a more positive context to any difficulty you might be having in shedding old baggage, letting go of attachments or simply seeing your life changing at a very deep level. It is also a time when you can bring your understanding and wisdom to shine a light on that deep change, to light a candle in the dark corners of what is unfamiliar or scary.
There is potential for brilliance and excitement under this transit. You may be more spontaneous, upbeat and eccentric than usual. If you are used to a fairly predictable lifestyle, it is a time when you may be inspired to experiment with something out of character. If you are used to being whacky, zany and impulsive, this transit can provide opportunities to express this. You may have an increased ability to "think outside the box" if you stretch your mind a little, and there is the possibility of having an "ah-ha!" experience, when answers and realisations fall into place. There is also the possibility of being mentally restless, so that it's hard to slow down your thoughts or apply yourself seriously to your responsibilities. Your attention span may be a bit short for a couple of days. This energy can be used to consider new ideas that seemed outlandish or impossible before, and see new potential in them.
The retrograde station can be felt for up to a week before and after this date. Since Chiron is often about health, you may find health issues coming to the foreground now. General issues about wounding, healing and hurt—physically, psychologically and/or spiritually—may come to a turning point now, making it necessary to take some time for healing, reconstruction, and reconciliation of the energies that are out of balance in your life. The retrograde station (now) begins this process, which gradually unfolds over the next 5 months. Focus your energies on acknowledging the areas that need healing in your life—literally or figuratively. Don't forget that although there are areas that still need healing, you have made progress on much of this in the past. It's important to balance your acknowledgement of the work yet to be done with recognition of what you have already achieved in the past.
This can be a time of romance, creativity, and a sense of oneness with the natural beauty of all that exists in the world. On a social or intimate level, things may run smoothly – even a bit magically! So be sure you are clear about what you really want. In terms of finances and material worth, this can be a time of blessings and abundance that could seem to appear out of nowhere. But be careful – it can also be a time of overspending and wondering where the money went! Your natural beauty and warmth shines through now, so it is a good time to peek out from behind any façade of glamour or illusion you might be cloaked in. You are likely to see the very best in others (and they in you), so that negotiation, interaction and attraction can seem to flow effortlessly. This magical attraction energy could also open you up to seeing wonderful qualities in others that may or may not actually be there, so do a reality check with a trusted friend before you make any important choices.
Your mental focus and perceptions may feel a bit strained right now. You could find yourself locked in a struggle of indecision that stems from a "glass half empty" versus "glass half full" dilemma. It may be difficult to stay objective and evenly balanced in your perspective, but by working with this you could also find a new mental focus that gives you increased clarity. It might be tempting to sink into cynicism as a way to deal with what seems like a no-win situation. On the other hand, this transit could bring your mental perspective to a kind of "healing crisis" that forces you to get a better grip on the ideas, communication and frame of mind that have been problematic for you. Instead of reaching for extremes (hoping this will clarify the path in front of you), it will help more if you can take a few steps back to allow all the conflicting and out-of-sync elements to coexist together – creative paradox. If you have been in denial about something, this could be a turning point that allows you to grapple with the complex reality of your situation.
Mercury goes Out of Bounds (OOB), encouraging us to peek into ideas and observations beyond our usual thoughts, awareness and comfort zone. The "air up there" can be a bit rarefied. If you're not used to it (and even if you are), your thoughts might seem almost a bit drunk, confused, inspired or flowing so freely that it's hard to capture them clearly. If you do catch one of these thoughts clearly, remember that it's an idea, not necessarily reality, even though you could use it to create a new reality for yourself. Your mental peripheral vision can become expanded, taking in more information than usual. You may have a chance to manifest it more clearly when Mercury returns from "outer space."
Like all things in astrology and life, this has its upside and its downside. Much depends on which thoughts you feed and what you feed them with. If you consume fear, suspicion, anger or hostility, you could find yourself feeling a bit paranoid, easily angered, or looking for ways to cheat in order to avoid anticipated negativity. On the upside, you may discover a fresh understanding about things, putting new pieces of the puzzle into place and tapping into a higher level of truth and insight. Try writing down your ideas, perceptions, thoughts and moods. After Mercury comes back down to earth, you can see how you can put those observations and ideas to good use.
Intuition, sensitive perception, and communication of feelings flow more easily during this transit. Your empathy may be deepened now, as you can be more able to imagine and pick up on what other people feel and need. Because of this, you may also find that it's easier to say difficult things in a sensitive, caring way. However, your open connection to others might also increase the risk of communicating in a hurtful or callous way, if you are not used to treading gently. Your creative imagination is also more accessible now. To take advantage of this, try doing some journal writing, expand your emotional awareness, have some creative fun, or think of ways to make your environment more homey and comfortable.
For up to a week before and after this date, your energy could feel intense, erratic, volatile or liberated. After being retrograde for the last 10 weeks or so, the energy that has been coiling during that time now begins to release. Low energy will likely return: suddenly, erratically, forcefully or gradually. It's possible you may reach a point of decision about issues you have been struggling with in the past 2-4 months.
If you've been working on preparing or planning for a new project, the station could begin the launch process. If issues about anger, sexuality, assertiveness or courage have been a thorn in your side for the last few months, this begins the phase when you will start to apply what you've learned and cultivated. It could begin with a resolution to your frustrations, or possibly bringing the problem to the surface where you will need to deal with it directly.
Depending on how constructively and therapeutically you have been working with these issues, this resolution could be a positive time of self-empowerment, or it could produce an explosion of the urge to control and force others to bend to your will (or someone else behaving that way around you). Over the coming two months, while Mars is still in the Shadow, you will apply and integrate the energy and learning that has been gathered and is now being released.
The key dates of this Mars cycle (for North American Eastern Time):
Venus has been Out of Bounds (OOB) since Jun.11 and now returns within the bounds of the Sun, by declination. Venus is a bit harder to integrate into the conventional world while she's OOB – a little wilder and freer, and perhaps looking for a more adventurous connection with others, but also less grounded and realistic. Now that Venus is returning in-bounds now, you may find that these areas are a little easier to work and more likely to gain acceptance and approval from others. However, if you've enjoyed some extra freedom and release during the OOB, this might feel a bit like coming back from a great vacation and now it's time to get back to work. The best thing you can do with your Venus OOB experiences is look for ways to integrate them into your everyday life.
Under this transit you could experience great intensity and challenge in your relationships or financial matters. It is a time to delve into the depths of your personal issues that associated with relationships, finances, resources and values. That means being willing to examine the under-the-surface dynamics and hidden patterns that affect these areas of your life. These emerging patterns could indicate a need to come to terms with your "Shadow" – this could include unconscious hidden agendas, secret desires, obsessions or power games. You have an opportunity now to learn more about how you project this "Shadow" onto others through your interactions, expectations, hopes and fears. At its best, this can be a time to transform fear into fortitude and powerlessness into endurance. By being willing to negotiate and work with your fears, feelings of intimidation or efforts to gain empowerment through self-honesty, you have the potential to create a win-win situation.
There is an abundance of creative inspiration, material enjoyment, feel-good pleasure in the air! Your luck and opportunity to attract money, love, resources and self-esteem are high right now. It may be relatively easy to attract the people, possessions and opportunities you want or need, but you'll still have to work to get them. On the other hand, your eyes may be bigger than your stomach (as mother would say) and you might be tempted to charm, flirt or bluff your way through a situation more than usual. There may also be a tendency to self-indulgence. These are not necessarily bad things, but it's probably wise to remember to use this energy to enhance your best judgement, not override it.
Faith in the bountiful blessings of the Universe is within reach under this transit...but then, so is the fantasy that you will be magically granted anything you wish for. Hope, optimism and imagination spring eternal right now, which can bring some relief from any depression or discouragement you might be feeling. Your creativity can become very inspired under this transit. Your sense of self could also get an infusion of uplifting vision. And you experience a sense of mission, feeling that you are truly a Child of the Universe. There is potential to lift you out of the ordinary and into the sublime – spiritually, creatively, romantically or compassionately. Enjoy it while it lasts, but before you make changes based on what might feel like a permanent condition, remember that this is mostly a temporary influence and you will still have to live within the bounds of the physical world after it passes. Don't make overly optimistic promises now, that you will have to fulfil later when the euphoria wears off.
